The Noust is situated just outside Orphir Village, 10 miles from Stromness and 7 miles from Kirkwall.
We have stunning views all round, the hills to the North and Scapa Flow Hoy and Flotta to the South.
The house is situated in a quiet area off the main road, making this a tranquil location, where you can stroll and take in the breathtaking scenery and wildlife.
Orkney's best beach 2006, Waulkmill Bay is situated just a short drive from the Noust
Our location is ideal for exploring all of Orkney and the Islands.
The ferry terminal for Hoy is 2 miles away, and a 10 minute drive takes you to the ferry terminals in Kirkwall or Stromness which serve the north and south islands of Orkney.
After a hard days exploring, relax outside with a chilled beer or G&T on the patio area with beautiful views over Scapa Flow.
The Church and community centre are nearby. post office and pub right on the doorstep.
